The Glass Lady - Sarah Keeley
I was born in Hong Kong and I have spent most of my life working and living in the Far East, Middle East, Mediterranean and Australia. I have always been interested in art and my passion, after living in Australia for a year is for fused glass art or also known as warm glass.
My vision when I returned from living in Australia, attending fused glass courses at Blue Dog Glass in Melbourne, where I learnt the art of fused glass was to make this unique art from more accessible to others.
I give personalised individual glass lessons in Harrogate & Knaresborough, North Yorkshire and have run workshops in Lancashire. I also make commissioned pieces from small decorative objects to art panel pieces.
I would love to guide you on your way to discovering this amazing art form, which has given me immense pleasure in very hectic world, where all you will need to start you on your path of discovery is your imagination and creativity to produce your own unique fused glass art.
All equipment and glass is provided in lessons and workshops. All workshops and lessons are suitable for beginners.
Should you wish to continue with fused glass art in the future and you do not wish to have the expense of purchasing a kiln, you can attend open studio sessions.
