Welcome to the Yorkshire Glass Fusing Studio, where we are passionate about working with glass. For the past 15 years, we have been running workshops for anyone who wants to learn this intricate and rewarding art form. Our studio is home to a number of different courses, including taster sessions and workshops for beginners. We also cater to special group functions, such as team building events, bridal parties and birthdays. Whatever your level of experience, we are ready to help you bring out your inner artist.

I brought my guiding group in around Christmas and we had such a wonderful time creating beautiful fused glass tree ornaments! The girls were so pleased to learn a new skill and to have a gorgeous keepsake from their time in guides that will be with them for many years to come! Thank you so much for your kindness and patience with such a large and enthusiastic group of 8 year olds! I plan on booking in later this spring with some of my own friends to create a keepsake of my time here in Yorkshire. Looking forward to seeing you then.

I have attended several workshops with Sarah from Christmas decorations to designing glass sections for an old garden lantern giving it a new lease of life. The teaching and encouragement from Sarah is second to none. She inspires creativity in a fun unpressured way. I am the fortunate owner of a commissioned piece of glass wall art completed by Sarah from a photo I gave her. This evokes many happy memories for my family. Can’t thank Sarah and Maddy enough for such a fantastic experience for my friend’s hen do. They went above and beyond, decorating the space and even provided treats for us to enjoy while we worked away. It was new experience for most of us and they did a fantastic job explaining and helping us through the process of creating our master pieces. Sarah has kept us updated afterwards with the firing process as well. And then we even had beautiful gifts to take away with us after the session! They absolutely went the extra mile to give us such a lovely experience. We’ll definitely be back when we get a chance to.

We did the 2 hour Beginner’s Fused Glass session as a special treat for my girlfriend’s birthday and had a fantastic time. Sarah was clearly very knowledgeable and the level of instruction was just right. We made two pieces each and are very pleased with the end result, now sitting proudly on display on the window sill. My girlfriend now has the ‘buzz’ for glass art and as someone who barely has a creative bone in their body, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Thank you Sarah!
